Africa Fashion Week 2010 - Part. II

The event is now over. And after seeing the pictures, I truly think and hope that it is on its way to expend onto the fashion world because there are a lot of potential and skills ! (Click on the pics for a bigger viewing)

South African designer Errol Arendz, for a thin and glamourous summer.

Ghanaian born and Californian raised-in Mimi Plange, for her own label, Boudoir d'Huitres (from the french, meaning Boudoir of Oysters), and whose designs are mostly inspired by the 17th century. Classy !

Somalian twins Ayaan and Idyl, from Maatano, their emerging brand based in New-York City. This collection features pastel toned garments and 70s inspired cuts (in my very own opinion !).

Thula Sindi, another South African designer.. One of my favourites with those colourful yet very chic pieces. (Y)
