(Afro) Queen Bee

When rumors about bleaching her skin are buzzing all over the internet, Beyonce darkens her face for the March issue of L'Officiel Magazine, its 90th birthday issue by the way.

I also read that it was a wrong way to "bring out the African woman inside her", that they could've taken the most of the opportunity to promote African designers instead of just African-inspired YSL and others, et cetera...

Really, is this that important ?! Should I care more ?! Would there be such talking if it was somebody else ?! Some people are so famous and reputed that every single of their moves are criticized when they mostly are innocent. Tough life ! All I can see here is a successful singer impersonating an ebony queen for an editorial, and it is gorgeous. Period.

  3. I agree. Poor Beyonce. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
I don't know why people take their frustration out on this chick.
Funny enough noone was complaining when Nicky Minaj painted her face.
People are truly blowing this thing out of proportion.
Personally i like it. She looks like one of the lady from the Sahel.
